I have a little play in my steering wheels

What is the problem ?

Looks like broken gears in the steering column.
I had the same failure on my Dallara and some other X-Bows also did:

If that's the failure, the whole steering column needs to be replaced. Costs about 1.200,- € if i remember right...

for me the play is between the part with the 6 screw and the steering colum

it's very strange....

but if you have a look to the picture we can see that this parts is attached to the steering colum

Somebody know how is the communication between Multifonctionsteering and display or ECU ?

I don t think it's with cable inside the steering colum... maybe infrarot

The removable steering wheel operates with infrarot, that's all i know...

Hallo !

Ich schätze das ganze sehr problematisch im Hinblick auf die Beriebssicherheit und somit der Strassenzulassung ein.

Schweissarbeiten an Lenksäulen und anderen elemtentaren Gruppen des Fahrwerkes führen in der Regel zum sofortigen Erlöschen der Betriebserlaubnis da hier eine Freigabe des Herstellers erfolgen müsste. Diese wird er aber niemals geben.

Solange kein Unfall passiert warscheinlich nicht von Interesse...wenn aber

Wie sieht es jetzt mit der Sicherheitsfunktion der Lenksäule aus ?? Diese soll sich ja im Bedarfsfall falten um den Fahrer zu schützen....

Ich hätte arge Bauchschmerzen...

[warnbox]Schweißnacharbeiten bei Lenksäulen sind grob fahrlässig, da sicherheitsrelevant und sind weder bei Rennfahrzeugen und schon gar nicht bei Serienfahrzeugen zu akzeptieren.
Eine Behebung des Problems kann bei jedem autorisierten X-BOW Servicepartner durchgeführt werden.[/warnbox]
